Job summary

Hallcon Corporation, a transportation and infrastructure services company, seeks a Safety Supervisor (Transportation) in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will lead safety programs, ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance, train drivers, and drive a culture of safety across multiple Bay Area locations including San Jose, South San Francisco, Burlingame, and Fremont.

The role requires supervising safety activities, conducting audits, and coordinating with Operations to improve safety performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in passenger transportation, fleet operations, or safety.
• Supervisory or lead experience in transportation safety.
• Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and training skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety management systems.
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends.

Responsibilities

• Promote Behavioral Based Safety culture to reduce incidents and injuries.
• Supervise daily safety and compliance activities across operations.
• Maintain driver qualification files, licensing records, medical certifications, and compliance documentation.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and corrective action plans.
• Investigate accidents and safety concerns, identifying root causes and preventative measures.
• Monitor safety metrics and prepare reports for leadership.
• Administer onboard safety technology programs (DriveCam, Samsara, SmartDrive).
• Deliver driver training, safety meetings, and new hire orientation.
• Support internal and regulatory audits and safety program development.
