The role focuses on driving a safe, compliant transportation environment for students and staff. You will investigate incidents, coordinate training, monitor driver performance, and develop hazard controls while managing safety budgets and pursuing cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in safety management and operations with supervisory duties.
• Knowledge of FMCSA, OSHA and related regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• Experience with driver hiring, training and safety program administration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee driver hiring and compliance processes and ensure training is conducted.
• Lead safety investigations and maintain collision records.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and maintain documentation.
• Produce safety reports and develop location safety action plans.
• Manage safety program budgets and pursue cost-saving initiatives.
