Job summary

Transdev is seeking a Safety & Security Manager to lead the safety program for the TAS division in Los Angeles, coordinating with operations, compliance, and vendor teams. You will oversee regulatory compliance, incident investigations, and safety training across sites, while driving continuous improvement in safety culture.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (preferred) with 3+ years in transportation safety management or related fields, along with OSHA-related certifications and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (preferred) and/or experience in transportation safety management or related field.
• OSHA certifications a plus (e.g. COSS/COSM).
• CPR, AED and First Aid certifications a plus.
• Meets driver requirements and background checks per state laws.
• Minimum of 3 years in transportation safety management or related safety compliance roles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state and federal transportation and workplace safety regulations (OSHA, Workers' Comp).
• Coordinate with vendors and TAS stakeholders to drive safety initiatives.
• Lead incident management processes including reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections of fleet, facilities, and workforce.
• Prepare and present safety findings and metrics to leadership and stakeholders.
• Support Zero-Tolerance Drug and Alcohol Policy compliance and testing processes.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
• On-call for critical incidents.
