Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Transportation/Roadway Engineer for our Atlanta, GA office to join a top ENR-ranked transportation design firm and advance your career. You will collaborate with a talented team and a Georgia Transportation Leader to expand our transportation design practice in Georgia.

You’ll work on projects with municipalities and GDOT, contribute to design-build efforts, and participate in pursuits while upholding Dewberry’s Code of Conduct and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in roadway design, preferably in Georgia.
• Georgia PE license, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Proficiency with OpenRoads Designer and MicroStation.
• Georgia DOT and Georgia local government design experience.
• GDOT Plan Development Process certification preferred.
• Energetic with ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Engineering design and plan production for a variety of multi-modal projects.
• Assuming task management responsibilities.
• Collaboration with a team of engineers for successful project delivery.
• Contributing to and design-build projects.
• Assisting with pursuits and proposals.
• Involvement in professional societies.
• Exercising ethical decision-making and adhering to the Dewberry Code of Conduct.
• Upholding workplace safety and abiding by Dewberry’s health and safety, and harassment policies.
