CDR Maguire Inc., a national multi-disciplinary engineering firm, has an immediate hiring need for a Transportation Resident Construction Manager for work on a large Heavy-Highway construction project.
This is a multi-year project with the PA Turnpike Commission (King of Prussia MP 280 - 320 area of the PA Turnpike). PennDOT District – 6.
The Transportation Resident Construction Manager (RCM) is responsible for overseeing construction inspection staff, consulting with contractors, consultants, engineers, job superintendents, and others in matters related to plans, specifications, materials, equipment, and the methods, practices and safety precautions involved in construction and installation of the work. The RCM oversees preparation of daily progress reports and maintains progress schedules; checks contractors' quotations for variations; keeps records of quantities and cost of materials used; prepares contractors' periodic progress payment claims and recommends payment. Compensation commensurate with experience but will exceed typical regional Supervisor and Manager rates.
