Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is seeking a Transportation Quality Support Technician to assist with transportation information and quality customer service for district staff, parents, and the public in Charlotte, NC. The role involves daily operational tasks, research, analysis, and responding to transportation questions while following local, state, and federal guidelines.

Fluency in Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of related experience required.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
• Provide accurate, timely, and comprehensive information to parents, district staff, and the public.
• Maintain records and prepare reports.
• Assist with the data collection for GPS software as well as any other technology used within the department.
• Serve as a conduit between the CMS transportation department and the general public.
