Job summary

NWPX Infrastructure is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor (Transportation) to plan, coordinate, and direct quality control programs ensuring ongoing compliance with established standards across water transmission product lines.

You will collaborate with the QA Manager and production teams to improve reliability, lead training, supervise inspectors, and respond to customer quality concerns, while applying lean approaches to data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 2-3 years in production operation including management, process implementation, packaging and logistics.
• Experience in the Pipe, Steel or heavy highway industry preferred or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Develops and analyzes data and specifications to determine standards and reliability expectations for finished products.
• Supports QA Manager in formulating quality objectives aligned with corporate goals.
• Coordinates objectives with production procedures to maximize reliability and minimize costs.
• Interprets quality control philosophy to personnel across the organization.
• Designs and implements quality control training programs for key staff.
• Directs inspectors to ensure continuous monitoring of in‑progress and finished goods.
• Plans and organizes training activities related to product quality.
• Investigates internal and external customer quality complaints.
