Job summary

The Minnesota Department of Transportation seeks a Project Selection Coordinator to provide professional planning and coordination for the agency’s transportation project selection policy and process. You will implement, assess, and improve the policy, serving as the expert, and engaging stakeholders.

The role includes leading updates, drafting legislative reports, and coordinating with internal and external partners, with telework optional and a regular day shift in a hybrid office setting.

Qualifications

• Two years of advanced professional planning experience demonstrating policy development, programs, or processes.
• Experience leading and/or facilitating internal and external groups and meetings.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and/or Power BI or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the agency expert on the project selection policy.
• Lead development of updates or legislative proposals to the policy.
• Develop and prepare legislative reports.
• Facilitate engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
