Job summary

City of Greenwood Village is seeking a Project Manager I/II in Transportation to lead capital projects, manage budgets, and ensure safety and environmental standards. You will oversee design, review contractor work, and guide public involvement from concept to completion.

The role requires civil engineering education, project management ability, and strong communication skills; hybrid in-office schedule with occasional field work and meetings with residents and commissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or traffic engineering.
• PE license or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience with Civil/Environmental/Traffic engineering tasks.
• Ability to manage capital improvement projects and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engineering studies, analyses, and cost evaluations for projects.
• Prepare designs, plans, specs, and estimates using required standards.
• Review drawings for drainage, roads, utilities, and traffic control devices.
• Manage CIP projects from design to completion and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Lead public meetings, liaise with residents, and present project updates.
