Job summary

Benesch is seeking a Transportation Engineering Project Manager in Georgia to lead transportation projects across the state, managing teams, budgets, and schedules while maintaining strong client relationships. The role blends technical design involvement with project leadership for roadway, highway, and interstate work for public and private clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in transportation engineering and project delivery.
• PE license in Georgia is desired.
• Experience with Georgia DOT/local agencies (GDOT PDP) is desired.
• Ability to stay hands-on technically while leading projects.
• Proven experience developing client relationships and pursuing new work.
• Strong project management: budgets, schedules, teams, scope, contracts.
• Excellent communication, organization, leadership, and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation projects, teams, budgets, schedules, scope, and delivery.
• Provide technical leadership in design, plan development, engineering analysis.
• Work on roadway, highway, interstate design for public and private clients.
• Serve as trusted advisor to new and existing clients and help grow partnerships.
• Identify opportunities, lead pursuits, contribute to proposals, SOQs, contracts, networking, and marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate technical efforts across multiple project teams and disciplines to deliver turnkey solutions.
• Build your professional network and represent the firm at industry events and professional organizations.
