Jobot in Texas is seeking a Permanent Transportation Project Engineer to lead roadway transportation projects, from design through construction, delivering safe, efficient infrastructure for our municipal partners.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in civil/transportation engineering, a bachelor's in civil engineering, strong project management skills, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation; PE is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; PE designation is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience with a focus on transportation projects.
• Experience budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design transportation projects with emphasis on roadway infrastructure.
• Manage and oversee all phases of projects from conception to completion.
• Coordinate with team members, stakeholders, and clients to meet objectives.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and present project reports, proposals, drawings, and specs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental policies, and engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during project lifecycle.
• Stay updated on industry advancements and apply improvements.
