Responsibilities

• Manage projects of moderate complexity.
• Supervise inspectors in highway and bridge construction.
• Review reports, estimates and final plans produced by subordinates.
• Coordinate project inspection requirements with project engineers and chief technician.
• Monitor project QA/QC, erosion control and traffic control activities for compliance.
• Meet with general public, contractor personnel, utility companies, city and county officials.
• Train subordinates and assist RCE in project closeout duties.
• Assist project engineers on major projects with project management duties.
• Review and prepare daily diaries, monthly construction estimates, and final plans.
• Perform project inspection and survey duties as needed.
• Take samples and supervise others in sampling materials.
• Conduct EPMS reviews.
