Job summary

HVEA Engineers in Beacon and Chestnut Ridge, NY seeks Project Engineers with 5–10 years' experience to join our transportation team. BS in Civil Engineering and NYS PE license are required; MicroStation and InRoads experience highly desirable.

You will assist with developing designs, cost estimates, QA/QC, manage budgets and schedules, and collaborate with clients and staff to deliver high-quality infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of project design experience in transportation engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with development of deliverables and QA/QC.
• Develop designs, specifications, plans, and cost estimates.
• Review bid documents and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Manage project budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate with clients and attend meetings.
