HVEA Engineers, a Hudson Valley transportation-focused engineering firm, seeks Staff Engineers for Chestnut Ridge and Beacon, NY offices. You will develop design skills, support permit applications, perform CAD work, and coordinate with technicians and staff on multiple projects.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from ABET/EAC accredited program.
• Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic design tasks.
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills for daily activities.
• Ability to work with project teams.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsabilidades

• Acquire basic design skills and develop them further.
• Apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
• Perform assigned tasks as part of a broader assignment.
• Perform basic computations and analyses.
• Perform basic design tasks.
• Assist with permit applications, material testing, drawings, and CAD work.
• Collect data for contract documents.
• Coordinate tasks with technicians or administrative staff.
• Conduct construction inspection duties and/or material testing as needed.
• Interact with staff, clients, and contractors professionally.
• Other duties as assigned.
