The role emphasizes mentoring junior staff, leading design efforts, and supporting business development while ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer.
• 3–5 years of experience with MicroStation, Geopak (or Open Roads) and FDOT procedures.
• Experience with traffic impact analysis, signal warrant studies and traffic management plans for private clients.
• Experience using SYNCHRO; ability to handle multiple deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs traffic and transportation systems analysis, planning and design.
• Determines feasibility of projects based on data analysis.
• Manage and design traffic signal projects for FDOT, counties and local municipalities.
• Oversees day-to-day operations of the group including business development and project management responsibilities.
• Mentoring direct reports and sharing knowledge.
