Garver in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Transportation Team and support the design and production of construction documents for a variety of transportation projects. The role is based in our St.

Louis, MO office and offers on-site collaboration with a reputable staff. Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program and have 2–8 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Registered EIT or PE encouraged/desired.
• 2–8 years of related experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the design and creation of construction documents for transportation projects.
• Establishing roadway geometric design for horizontal and vertical alignments including super elevation.
• Evaluating drainage needs using hydrology and hydraulics calculations.
• Determining construction perimeters by 3D modeling of roadway corridors.
• Designing traffic components of permanent and temporary traffic control during construction.
• Calculating quantities and assisting in submittal production through plan sheet setup and drafting.
