Job summary

Garver invites a seasoned Municipal Team Leader to join our St. Louis office, directing roadway and transportation projects for municipalities and counties within the region.

You will lead a skilled design and planning team, manage client relationships, develop proposals, and coordinate with sub-consultants to deliver on schedule, scope and budget while advancing Garver's community-focused transportation priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in MO and KS or ability to obtain reciprocity within six months.
• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with AASHTO Green Book, Roadside Design Guide, MUTCD and other design manuals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Project management and client coordination for municipal roadway projects.
• Sub-consultant coordination and schedule management.
• Develop contract scope and fee negotiations.
• Lead and mentor design team members.
• Civil design and plan production oversight.
• Prepare cost estimates and manage budgets.
• Client management and pursuit of business opportunities.
• Experience with proposals, interviews, and presentations.
