Job summary

RS&H, Inc. in Orlando seeks a Program Communications Manager for the District 5 Corridors Program Office in Maitland, FL. This embedded role reports to the office five days a week, guiding communications for the program and its initiatives.

You will lead development and execution of marketing and communications strategies to inform the public, stakeholders, and media; oversee messaging; plan news events; and coordinate content that supports program goals and objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, English or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in communications or public affairs. Master's may substitute for one year.
• Experience leading and managing a team of communications professionals.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communications efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a communications strategy to promote DCPO goals and accomplishments.
• Manage internal and external communications with a wide variety of stakeholders.
• Coordinate special events including public meetings, open houses, and project tours.
• Oversee the DCPO Communications team to ensure goals are met in a timely manner.
