Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7–10 years in government affairs or public policy.
• Experience with elected officials, agencies, boards, or public-sector orgs.
• Transportation or infrastructure experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic counsel to the Executive Director on legislative issues.
• Build relations with elected officials, agencies, and community groups.
• Serve as primary liaison with federal, state, regional, and local partners.
• Oversee advocacy contracts and coordinate meetings and briefings.
• Represent CFX at government and industry meetings and events.
• Monitor legislation affecting CFX operations and projects.
• Prepare summaries for executive leadership and respond to inquiries.
• Support development of CFX's annual legislative agenda.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen partnerships and engage stakeholders.
• Plan outreach strategies for transportation projects and tolling initiatives.
