Job summary

CDM Smith invites applications for an internship within our Transportation Advisory Services Team. The role focuses on delivering integrated strategic communications products for transportation clients, including DO Ts, commissions, and planning agencies.

You will craft content across websites, videos, emails, and social media, under senior guidance. Ideal candidates are enrolled in planning or related fields, with strong writing, organization, and collaboration skills, willing to learn and meet

Qualifications

Currently enrolled and taking courses toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Planning or a related field.
Interest in transportation is preferred.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign and Illustrator) and/or Canva a plus.
Interest in general business marketing is NOT required.
Excellent business writing and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Support content creation including websites, videos, emails, social media content, presentations.
Assist with meeting management such as task forces and client events.
Help craft collateral explaining technical content for clients, stakeholders, and lay audiences.
