Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an intern to join our Transportation Advisory Services Team in offices nationwide. This role focuses on delivering integrated strategic communications for transportation clients and supporting content creation across websites, emails, social media, and presentations.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Planning or related field, with interest in transportation, environment, and infrastructure, and strong writing skills. Travel is not required.

Qualifications

• Fully versed in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Work with project teams to deliver integrated strategic communications for transportation clients (Departments of Transportation, transportation commissions, toll authorities, and planning agencies).
• Support content creation including websites, videos, emails, social media content, presentations, and meeting management (task forces and client events).
• Help craft collateral explaining technical content for clients, stakeholders, and lay audiences.
