Job summary

CDM Smith is offering an internship with the Transportation Advisory Services Team, focusing on strategic communications for transportation clients. The role supports content creation across websites, videos, emails, social media, and meetings, helping craft collateral for diverse audiences.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Planning-related program, with strong writing skills, interest in transportation, and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite. Travel is not required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Master's program in Planning or related field.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Interest in transportation is preferred.
• Interest in public communications and writing is preferred.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign/Illustrator) and/or Canva is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support content creation including websites, videos, emails, social media content, presentations, and meeting management.
• Help craft collateral explaining technical content for clients, stakeholders, and lay audiences.
• Work with project teams to deliver integrated strategic communications products for transportation clients.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm, initiative, and ability to meet deadlines.
