Qualifications

• Five years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty, and an Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists; or

Responsibilities

• Project Analysis: Review engineering plans and cost data to support accurate project programming
• Data Management: Maintain transportation planning systems and update project information as needed
• Report Preparation: Prepare written and oral reports that summarize project status and program needs
• Funding Coordination: Work with project managers to align funding with project schedules
• Public Engagement: Attend meetings and share program information with community groups and officials
• System Oversight: Use transportation databases to monitor obligations and produce required reports
