Job summary

Collier County MPO is seeking a detail-oriented professional to perform intermediate planning work, collecting, organizing and evaluating planning data. Responsibilities include supporting MPO Board and advisory committees, coordinating plan reviews, maintaining records and preparing reports.

The role supports continuing, cooperative, and comprehensive planning processes (3Cs), including LRTP, TIP, and UPWP, with data analysis, GIS, and map creation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two (2) years of related experience.
• Fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize and evaluate planning data.
• Provide MPO Board and Advisory Committee support; prepare agenda packets and lead meetings.
• Support development of LRTP, TIP, and UPWP; assist in implementation.
• Provide technical analysis and data reporting on transportation data and GIS.
• Maintain records and prepare reports; coordinate with County staff and officials.
• Prepare scope of work for consultant services for long-range planning.
