Job summary

Collier County MPO is seeking a detail oriented professional to collect, organize, and evaluate transportation planning data. The role supports planning and compliance across the MPO’s core documents and engages with public involvement activities to capture input.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least one year of related experience, with fingerprinting required. Candidates will assist with meetings, budgets, and interagency coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• One (1) year of related experience.
• Fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical planning support, including collecting, organizing, and analyzing transportation data.
• Assists with MPO planning compliance including documenting planning processes and reporting requirements.
• Supports MPO Board and committees in developing agendas, minutes, and related documentation.
• Assists with Public Involvement and Community Engagement activities and records public comments.
• Assists with Project and Program Monitoring including tracking deadlines and deliverables.
• Performs administrative tasks such as budgeting, purchasing, payroll, and accounting documents.
• Coordinates to develop budget documents and maintain related records.
• Provides interagency coordination with FDOT, FHWA, and local agencies.

Education
