The role involves data collection, creating graphics, and supporting final deliverables for projects with clients and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Planning/Engineering (or related field) and 0-3 years of transportation planning experience, with GIS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Planning, Engineering, or related field.
• 0-3 years' experience in transportation planning or related field.
• AICP Candidate is preferred.
• Skilled with GIS programs and applications.
• Knowledge of transportation planning (transit operations) principles and practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong graphical design aesthetic and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with various tasks within broader assignments led by experienced planners or engineers
• Develop maps, drawings, conceptual designs, graphical materials, and visual aids
• Write and contribute to sections of technical reports and other project documentation
• Oversee and assist with data collection, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of information
• Attend and participate in meetings with senior staff, clients, and project stakeholders
• Coordinate with municipalities, agencies, and other stakeholders to gather data and manage project schedules
• Assist in facilitating public and client meetings, including preparation and follow-up actions

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 per year.

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
