LaBella Associates is seeking a motivated Transportation Planner to contribute to transportation and transit planning studies, conceptual designs, and reports while collaborating with experienced professionals. The role involves data collection, creating graphics, and supporting final deliverables for projects with clients and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Planning/Engineering (or related field) and 0-3 years of transportation planning experience, with GIS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Planning, Engineering, or related field.
• 0-3 years' experience in transportation planning or related field.
• AICP Candidate is preferred.
• Skilled with GIS programs and applications.
• Knowledge of transportation planning (transit operations) principles and practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong graphical design aesthetic and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilités

• Assist with various tasks within broader assignments led by experienced planners or engineers
• Develop maps, drawings, conceptual designs, graphical materials, and visual aids
• Write and contribute to sections of technical reports and other project documentation
• Oversee and assist with data collection, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of information
• Attend and participate in meetings with senior staff, clients, and project stakeholders
• Coordinate with municipalities, agencies, and other stakeholders to gather data and manage project schedules
• Assist in facilitating public and client meetings, including preparation and follow-up actions
