Job summary

Skyline Nursing Center is seeking a dependable driver to transport residents to medical appointments and follow discharge plans. You will ensure safety, maintain the vehicle, and assist with Center activities as needed.

Required CPR, a valid state driver’s license, and minimally one year of resident-transport experience in a healthcare setting are preferred. CNA is a plus; on-site role at the Center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with recreation coursework desirable.
• CPR certification is required.
• Current State driver’s license without violations.
• Certified Nurse’s Aide desired.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from physician appointments in a timely manner.
• Transport residents from hospital after discharge.
• Transport medical records for signatures to medical offices.
• Maintain safety policies and procedures while in Center and during transport.
• Keep the van in good working condition and clean.

Principal Responsibilities

• Provides transportation of residents to and from physician appointments in a timely manner.
• Provides transportation of current or new residents from hospital after discharge.
• Transports medical records for signatures to medical offices.
• Maintains a high level of safety following safety policies and procedures while in Center and transporting residents.
• Maintains van in good working condition.
• Maintains van in a neat and clean condition at all times.
• Assists in general with Center activities as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with course work in recreation is desirable; Completion of a state approved activity-training course is preferred but not required.
• CPR Certified
• Current State drivers license without violations
• Certified Nurse’s Aide desired.
• At least (1) year of verifiable experience transporting residents in a healthcare setting.
