Job summary

Skyline Nursing Center is seeking a Transportation Aide to move residents to and from appointments and after hospital discharges. You will transport medical records and maintain safety and van cleanliness in a care-focused environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, CPR certification, a valid Texas driver's license, and preferred CNA status with at least one year of transport experience in healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with course work in recreation is desirable; Completion of a state approved activity-training course is preferred but not required.
• CPR Certified
• Current State driver's license without violations
• Certified Nurse’s Aide desired.
• At least (1) year of verifiable experience transporting residents in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides transportation of residents to and from physician appointments in a timely manner.
• Transports residents from hospital after discharge.
• Transports medical records for signatures to medical offices.
• Maintains a high level of safety following safety policies and procedures while in Center and transporting residents.
• Maintains van in a neat and clean condition at all times.
• Assists in general with Center activities as needed.
