Job summary

Amazon is seeking Transportation Operations Managers to lead operations at sites across the United States. You will drive process improvements, manage a team of Transportation Area Managers, and ensure safety, quality, and customer experience across your region.

The role requires 3+ years of people management, a relevant degree or equivalent experience, and flexibility in scheduling, including nights and holidays.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Transportation Area Managers at sites within the region to streamline logistics.
• Ensure safety, quality, performance and customer experience for the region.
• Supervise according to company policies and procedures; meet and exceed goals.
• Forecast, plan, and coach employees; resolve staffing and performance issues.
• Mentor and develop teammates for career progression across shifts and network.
• Travel up to 50% may be required; accommodate varied hours including nights and weekends.
