Job summary

Penske Logistics in Frederick, MD is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead hourly staff and oversee driver deliveries, loading/unloading, and customer service operations to meet our service and cost objectives.

You will supervise a team, manage scheduling, and participate in hiring and safety initiatives while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop supervisors and associates to meet customer objectives.
• Schedule and oversee dispatch, loading/unloading, and customer service.
• Conduct team meetings and coaching, monitor attendance and performance.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and manage overtime.
• Maintain site safety and incident prevention.
• Coordinate with vendors and Penske Truck Leasing for maintenance.
• Assist in hiring and participate in customer meetings.
