Job summary

National DCP, LLC is hiring a Transportation Supervisor in Groveland, FL. This role guides a team of route drivers to ensure on-time delivery, cost-efficient operations, and regulatory compliance.

You will coach drivers on safety, efficiency, and customer service while partnering with hubs and stores to resolve issues. The position requires 2+ years of supervisory experience in transportation, knowledge of FMCSA regulations, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years' experience managing a high-volume delivery route.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a transportation-related role.
• Strong understanding of Federal Motor Carrier Rules & Regulations.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards & regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• SAP experience preferred.
• On-Board Computer System Experience required.
• Routing software experience; Appian preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Flexibility to work extended schedules.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the route drivers to ensure optimal delivery performance, cost efficiency, safety and good customer relations.
• Coach drivers on safety, driving, and customer service skills.
• Monitor driver performance weekly and counsel on improvements.
• Supervise Lead Drivers.
• Collaborate with Dunkin’ Stores and DC to resolve delivery issues.
• Administer disciplinary actions when required.
• Ensure compliance with DOT hours of service and FMCSA regulations.
• Assist with driver scheduling, vacations and time-off requests.
• Orient new drivers and onboard them effectively.
• Support driver performance metrics and incentive programs.
