Job summary

C.R. England, Inc. is seeking an Account Supervisor to optimize asset utilization and driver management while delivering high levels of customer service and fleet profitability. You will coach staff and support administrative operations across multiple teams.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Transportation Network Coordinators, ensuring DOT-compliant driver hours, and maintaining proactive customer communication to meet commitments and deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; a 4 year degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
• Proficient with Excel and other reporting capabilities.
• Knowledge of industry-specific logistics programs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience using MS Office suite and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Direct and indirect management of drivers, office staff and customer accounts.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of Transportation Network Coordinators and Logistics Coordinators.
• Manage freight with focus on safety and timely delivery under DOT regulations.
• Optimize asset utilization of trucks and trailers; may include slip-seating.
• Lead safety compliance and partner with Safety to address incidents and training.
• Communicate proactively with customers to meet freight commitments and expectations.
• Handle urgent situations professionally.
