Job summary

Ellsworth Adhesives is seeking a Transportation Operations Specialist to coordinate domestic and international transport, work with vendors, and manage shipments on-site or in a hybrid setting in Germantown, WI. This role emphasizes accuracy, service, and continuous improvement to support our distribution network.

The successful candidate will bring 3+ years in related roles, post-high school supply chain education, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related industrial experience and/or training.
• Post high school education in Supply Chain or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and warehouse software.
• Excellent customer service and attention to detail.
• Self-directed with a sense of urgency and ability to drive cost savings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with third-party vendors to obtain quotes for domestic and international transportation.
• Freight forwarder communication.
• Book transportation using Third-Party Transportation Management System.
• Exception shipment management.
• Supporting transportation functions for the organization.
• Assists with transportation coordination requests.
• Files and pursues damage claims with carriers and insurance companies.
• Coordinates LTL shipments.

Qualifications

• Post high school education in a related field of study, such as Supply Chain
