Job summary

The Veterans Health Administration is seeking a Transportation Assistant to support the Veteran Transportation Services program. You will assist with transportation workload forecasting, scheduling design, and procedure development, contributing to ongoing quality improvement and operational efficiency.

Working with the VTS Supervisory Mobility Manager, you will document travel information, track data daily, and help generate reports while coordinating connections and ensuring reliable service

Qualifications

• Time-In-Grade requirements for current federal employees.
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-5.
• Examples of specialized experience include coordinating connections/scheduling, documenting travel information, data tracking, generating reports, entering data into databases, and directing a program that provides support services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation workload forecasting and scheduling.
• Develop procedures and improve quality of the transportation program.
• Evaluate and optimize operational flow of Veteran Transportation Services.
• Collect and analyze travel data and generate routine reports.
