Job summary

Trinity Health PACE seeks a Transportation Manager to oversee the transportation program for participants, meals, DME, and supplies. You will lead the transport team, manage hiring, training, and daily operations, and ensure scheduling software runs smoothly.

The role requires experience in transportation, strong leadership, and excellent communication. Local travel to centers within the region is expected; comprehensive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience with frail or elderly population.
• Two years of admin/supervisory experience in transportation.
• Five years of experience in the transportation industry.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Ability to plan, organize, develop and interpret programs and policies.
• Travel up to 10% within the Centers geographic region.

Responsibilities

• Serve on the interdisciplinary team (IDT) and report changes in participants’ status daily.
• Supervise transportation staff, oversee hiring, training, and daily operations.
• Ensure responsibility for running and maintaining transportation scheduling software.
• Maintain daily communications between the Center, drivers, dispatch and coordinator.
• Communicate daily work schedules to colleagues.
• Coordinate and schedule daily delivery of meals, DME, supplies, and items.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance, repairs, and assist with new vehicle purchases.
• Ensure participant satisfaction related to transportation.
• Collaborate on budgeting and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Manage third-party contracts and staffing levels.
