Transportation Operations Manager

Our growing Transportation company has a need for an Operations Manager to supervise their Dispatch and Customer Service teams.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing a team of 15 employees between Dispatch and Customer Service. This person must be customer service focused and driven to do the right thing for customers.

Duties:

1. Establish transportation cost standards
2. Track KPI’s and monitor department performance
3. Responsible for recruiting, hiring and training new employees in Dispatch and Customer Service
4. Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards & DOT regulations; follow the company safety program

Requirements:

Minimum five years of logistics experience preferably in a trucking environment with at least two years of supervisory experience.
