Job summary

Core & Main, based in St. Louis, is a leader in delivering infrastructure products and services nationwide. This role oversees the physical movement of inbound and outbound shipments at a distribution center, directing delivery drivers, optimizing routes, and ensuring safety compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in dispatch or fleet maintenance, experience with routing programs and DOT regulations, and a proven ability to lead teams while maintaining cost-efficient operations.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related discipline and 5+ years experience in a related field.
• Experience with routing programs.
• Experience with DOT regulations and driver safety programs.
• Prior supervisory experience in dispatch or fleet maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Leads, directs and trains the delivery driver team.
• Ensures compliance with safety, hazmat and DOT requirements.
• Manages routes to ensure cost efficient delivery operations.
• Oversees and performs routine vehicle inspection and maintains proper records.
• Coaches and develops delivery drivers, including accompanying drivers on routes for evaluation purposes.
