Walmart is seeking an Assistant General Manager, Transportation in Porterville, CA, to lead transportation operations across our distribution network. You will drive on-time delivery, fleet readiness, safety, compliance, and cost efficiency while partnering with cross-functional teams to execute Walmart's supply chain strategy.

You will mentor transportation managers and supervisors, leverage data and technology to improve performance, and champion a culture of continuous improvement,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Experience leading transportation, logistics, distribution, or fleet operations.
• Experience managing leaders and associates in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Experience utilizing operational and financial metrics to drive performance.
• Experience managing safety, compliance, and workforce initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day transportation operations to ensure on-time delivery performance and achievement of business objectives.
• Direct teams responsible for transportation planning, dispatch, routing, driver support, and freight movement.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies to improve efficiency and customer outcomes.
• Collaborate with Distribution Centers, Fleet Maintenance, Store Operations, and Home Office to support network priorities.
• Drive operational readiness to meet changing business demands and customer expectations.

Formation

Bachelor's degree in Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
