Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Transportation Manager to lead planning, coordination, and oversight of our resident and patient transport operations. You will ensure clean, safe, and timely service while aligning with our standards for quality and safety across the community.

You will coordinate scheduled trips, manage staffing and training, review policies, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with leadership to meet safety, regulatory, and budget obligations in a life plan environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• DRIVE certification or willingness to complete.
• Interest or experience in transportation operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation for scheduled events, activities, and errands for residents/patients.
• Plan trips and outings, including reservations, costs, and sign-up sheets.
• Maintain weekly appointment calendar and send reminders as needed.
• Determine staffing to meet departmental needs and supervise staff.
• Manage resident/patient caseload and verify payer sources where appropriate.
