Ferraro Foods seeks an experienced Transportation Manager to lead daily transportation operations, drive efficiency, and build a high-performing driver team. You will manage dispatching, routing, and delivery coordination for Class A and B drivers, while ensuring safety, DOT compliance, and strong customer communication.

In this role, you will coach and develop drivers, address attendance and policy concerns, and collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Safety, and Operations to resolve

Qualifications

• Requires Active Class A or B CDL and 5+ years in foodservice delivery or transportation operations.
• Experience supervising or managing transportation teams preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching, routing, and delivery operations.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily transportation operations for Class A and B drivers.
• Monitor delivery schedules and troubleshoot service issues with drivers and customers.
• Manage driver callouts, scheduling changes, and coverage to minimize disruptions.
• Review and optimize delivery routes to improve efficiency and truck utilization.
• Oversee routing activities and ensure accurate route information and truck maximization in RoadNet.
• Lead, coach, train, and develop drivers and helpers for performance and safety.
• Address attendance, performance, and policy concerns including corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, OSHA requirements, and safety policies.
• Report driver accidents, incidents, and workplace injuries to Safety and HR.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Safety, and Operations to resolve delivery challenges.
• Identify opportunities to improve transportation processes and overall department performance.
