Job summary

GEODIS in Brentwood, TN, is seeking an operations professional to monitor service calls, resolve urgent customer issues, and coordinate invoicing and carrier actions. You will support planners, ensure SOPs are followed, and manage hourly staff scheduling and cross-training initiatives.

Role requires at least 3 years of related experience, familiarity with Transportation Management Systems, and strong reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years related experience or equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems required.
• Experience with optimization tools preferred.
• PC literate; proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook; reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor service calls for demeanor, accuracy, and policy compliance.
• Recommend corrective actions for customer complaints.
• Serve as direct contact for urgent customer issues.
• Escalate operational issues to management when needed.
• Coordinate with FAP on invoice resolution and carrier escalation.
• Prepare month-end close revenue accruals reports for manager.
• Assist in QBR preparation for customers; ensure SOPs are accurate.
• Determine procedures and supervise hourly staff training and schedules.
• Approve and track hourly team schedules via UNITIME.
• Support planners during contingencies; help secure trucks cost-effectively.
• Collaborate with accounts payable for freight billing processing.
• Audit invoices and assist central billing with discrepancies.
• Follow up with carriers on invoice receipt; load planning and routing compliance.
• Help establish cross-training initiatives; assist performance reviews.
