Qualifications

• At least 2 years' office or coordinator experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Excellent relationship building and customer facing skills.
• Ability to listen to and follow instructions (digest instructions).
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Good numeracy and literacy.
• Clear communication with customers and drivers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day coordinator activities of the transportation department.
• Manage the POD (proof of delivery) process according to procedures.
• Update transport management systems daily.
• Support the Logistics team and Transportation Coordinator.
• Identify training needs via performance/appraisals and policy guidance.
• Schedule inbound deliveries for warehouses.
• Collaborate with Import Brokers for bookings and delays communication.
• Maintain system housekeeping and data accuracy.
• Challenge carriers on charges; coordinate with AP for invoices.
• Ensure TMS compliance and data integrity; perform additional duties as needed.
