Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of clerical, logistics or business experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT and hazardous materials regulations preferred.
• Microsoft Office proficiency required.
• Familiarity with Peoplenet, TCHEK/Comdata and MCMS preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support operations, planners and drivers to move freight in a timely, safe, and cost-effective manner.
• Assist in entry of road calls, record/report driver delays and communicate with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with vendors for breakdowns, accidents and spills, and document service received.
• Troubleshoot driver logs, hours of service, and dispatch accuracy to ensure timely departures and arrivals.
• Record and notify relevant parties of delays or rescue needs when required.
