HVEA Engineers is seeking an experienced Office Engineer to support transportation construction projects in the New York Metro and Hudson Valley region. You will assist the Resident Engineer/PM with schedules, RFIs, submittals, change Orders, and project documentation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Office Engineer experience, strong communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with knowledge of NYSDOT processes.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of Office Engineer experience on transportation projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report writing.
• Knowledge of NYSDOT plans, specs, estimates and compliance.
• Ability to work independently with strong time management and attention to detail.

Aufgaben

• Support the Resident Engineer/PM with schedules.
• Prepare and track RFIs, submittals and change orders.
• Maintain NYSDOT MURK-compliant project records.
• Prepare monthly project status reports.
• Assist in payment requisitions and close-out activities.
• Review contractor payroll and insurance documents.
• Attend project meetings and record minutes.
• Establish and maintain shop and working drawings.
