Job summary

Reliance, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee shipments from production to end-users and to plan daily and weekly routes in a fast-paced environment. You will track orders, coordinate with warehouses, and monitor transportation costs while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The role requires 5+ years in logistics, a valid driver’s license, and strong multitasking abilities; travel and weekend hours may be needed to meet delivery commitments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• High School diploma/GED is required.
• Valid Driver's license with a driving record that supports safe vehicle practices.
• Knowledge of USDOT/FMCSA regulations and federal safety standards.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively; travel required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise the shipments from production to the end-user.

• Coordinate with Warehouse Workers to ensure proper storage and distribution of products.

• Conduct regular safety audits on equipment.

• Keep organized records of vehicles, schedules and completed orders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping legislation.
• Oversee and manage staff to ensure work is completed and aligned with standards.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Valid Drivers license and a driving record that demonstrates a commitment to safe vehicle practices required.
• Ability to meet current Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) quality criteria as defined by Federal regulations and/or company policy required.
• Knowledge of crash and employee injury exposures and controls required.
• Knowledge of USDOT/FMCSA regulations required.
• Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and their interpretations required.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including innovative and engaging ways to convey messages across the organization required.

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $60,000.00/Yr. - USD $80,000.00/Yr. depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
