Job summary

Qualifications

• 4 years of transportation experience.
• In-depth knowledge of the supply chain/logistics industry.
• Availability to travel occasionally.
• Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall on-site management of a customer account and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Serve as primary customer contact for new initiatives and critical issues.
• Maintain responsibility for overall P&L to meet budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure effective communication with company drivers and manage tractor maintenance and service delivery.
• Track performance metrics: on-time pickup/delivery, volume, equipment balance, and empty miles.
• Recruit and retain drivers to meet fleet size goals.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement solutions.
• Investigate service failures and apply corrective actions.
• Develop/modify policies to meet customer service requirements.
• Maintain safe work environment and resolve employee relations issues.
