Grand Targhee Resort in Driggs, ID seeks an experienced Transportation Supervisor to oversee the resort's Transportation Program, including daily shuttle service between Teton Valley and Grand Targhee, airport shuttle, and the Ride GTR initiative. As a resort ambassador, you will engage guests to ensure safe, reliable transportation.
You will recruit and train drivers, schedule services year-round, supervise a team, and coordinate with local agencies to meet safety standards and funding
Thi s position is responsible for overseeing Grand Targhee Resort’s Transportation Program. This includes daily shuttle service between Teton Valley Idaho and Grand Targhee Resor t, airport shuttle service, and RIDE GTR program. A key part of every employee's job is to serve as a Targhee ambassador, engaging the guest at every opportunity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Directly supervises + / - 1 5 employees in the Transportation Department . Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the resort’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Due to the nature of the recreation industry, we are in operation seven days a week. This includes weekends and holidays and there is no guarantee of hours. Flexible working hours may be required based on the business levels.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Wyoming Class "B" Drivers' License with passenger endorsement.
Ability to add,subtract,multiply,and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, commonfractions,and decimals. Able to accurately read and make measurements.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals . Ability to write routine reports and correspondence . Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.Excellent verbal communication skills.
Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions.Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
