Summary/Objective:

The Ski Shuttle Services Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting passengers between Tributary and Grand Targhee Ski Resort at designated times during the day, and maintaining Tributary’s Ski Lounge at the ski mountain. You will provide a positive, courteous experience for members and guests and ensure timely and smooth transportation services. A successful candidate will focus on safety, customer service, and punctuality.

  • Operate company vehicles safely and reliably, including but not limited to 4x4 Sprinter van and Ford Expedition–style SUV.
  • Transport members and guests to and from Tributary and Grand Targhee at scheduled times or times designated by the department head.
  • Confirm and log passenger names.
  • Load and offload member and their guests' ski and snowboard gear.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safe driving practices.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles (interior and exterior).
  • Refuel company vehicles as needed.
  • Follow designated schedules to ensure on-time pick-ups and drop-offs.
  • Maintain the Tributary–Targhee Clubroom by stocking supplies, removing trash, and ensuring the space remains clean and organized. Duties include, but are not limited to, restocking beverages (water, coffee, tea, cocoa) and cleaning high-traffic areas such as counters, sinks, carpets, and floors as needed.
  • Perform minor vehicle maintenance (e.g., checking tire pressure, fluid levels).
  • Complete administrative tasks such as logging vehicle maintenance, fuel receipts, or passenger feedback.
  • Promptly report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
  • Communicate all passenger feedback to the department head.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

This position is mostly in a vehicle with time outside during winter and will be subject to weather conditions and other hazards found outside. The employee may be exposed to hazards including, but not limited to, slipping, tripping, falls, cuts, sun exposure, and other injury related hazards. Also, all hazards that can be found driving in winter conditions exist.

The employee is occasionally required to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a Full-Time, Seasonal position. The shift is intended to be an 8 hours day time shift with some overtime expected. Flexibly at the end of the shift will be required to allow for delays and extended driving times. As a full-time role, this position may be scheduled up to 5 days a week in discussion between the applicant/employee and the department manager, and weekends and holidays may be required.

Travel

There may be light travel to Jackson Hole or Idaho Falls for local shuttling and other services unrelated to ski services to assist the Recreation or Member Services departments.

Required Education and Experience

  • Valid and active driver’s license with a clean driving record in the last three years
  • DOT Medical Certification – This will be scheduled and paid for by Tributary once hired
  • Prior experience in a customer-centric customer-facing position
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and multitasking environment

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Previous experience and or comfort driving a Class B vehicle (passenger van)
  • WFR or WFA certified
  • First aid and CPR

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Must be able to speak fluent English
  • Must be able to represent themselves in a positive and professional manner that will promote the club features and activities.
  • Must demonstrate and be interested in creating and maintaining relationships.

Work Authorization

Must have valid work authorization to work in the United States for I-9 form purposes.
