Transportation Manager - Piedmont Health Services Inc

Join us as a Transportation Manager at Piedmont Health Services Inc, a leading nonprofit and Federally Qualified Health Center in North Carolina, dedicated to providing accessible and inclusive primary healthcare for over 54 years.

Position Overview: The Transportation Manager will plan, organize, and oversee transportation services for the Adult Day Health Center serving frail seniors. This role is based at our PACE Pittsboro location, working Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with some travel required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all transportation schedules for PHSC participants.
• Manage outside transportation service providers.
• Conduct transportation assessments for new enrollees and reassessments.
• Serve as a backup driver and supervise drivers.
• Provide training to drivers on safety and procedures.
• Review and verify bills from contractors.
• Maintain transportation records and ensure policy compliance.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; supervisory experience in transportation preferred.
• At least 3 years of management experience and 1 year of transporting individuals with mobility needs.
• Valid NC Driver’s License and safe driving record.
• Upon employment, completion of defensive driving, first aid, and CPR training.
